Over the last 9 years I have been creating theatre and researching performance techniques with particular interest in the embodied voice, training in the Human Voice (Centre Artistique International Roy Hart), Noh Theatre (Royal Holloway University), Actors Training (Moon Fool), and the Listening Eye (Michael-Deason Barrow, Tonalis). The journey of finding your voice is one we all embark on in some form. What does it mean to embody that voice and for that voice to be embodied? I believe these questions hold the keys to unlock many doors hidden within our psyches, marking the threshold between spirituality and physicality. Finding our voice through the multiplicity of permutations of generations of individuals of bodies, within a global, cultural, social and personal context is a journey of spiritual significance.
