Please Grow a Humerus

We all have a funny bone.  It’s the long bone of your upper arm, called the Humerus, but when you hit the distal end of it (where the ulna nerve crosses the elbow joint) and you get that hideous, sickening pain, it’s anything but funny.

 

However, we all have the capacity for a bit of humour in our life.  It troubles me sometimes that when people are perceived as ‘mucking around’ or having a bit of fun, they are often believed to be glib.  Flakey.  Not serious enough in their professional fields, wasting time on the job.  Unable to comprehend, formulate, negotiate, be productive.

 

Nothing could be further from the truth as far as I’m concerned.
