Hello and welcome
On Monday, June 21 2010, I decided to fiddle with cyberspace fate. I played with HTML and touched-up my hosting service. I manipulated a Word Press upgrade and fondled some java-domain naming-CSS-crapola.
Since then, I have been banished to the blog-less land of the blighted. I’ve been tugged and tormented, jeered at (by the internetz gods) and toggled. Jeez, I almost had my arm amputated!
I’ve cried out in the night to a nerdish friend, to ‘elp me! Ploise, before the internet cabling warps from the wire-fire thingy and wraps around my neck. Thanks for listening and helping, Laura. You are a cyber wizardess.
Let this be a warning, dear reader. DO not meddle with the mesh or swizzle with the cybernaughtics of your website lest you chop off your blogging nose to spite your upgrade-needy face. There can be consequences to the technique I sometimes employ, involving:
• finding me some pieces of html
• pressing a few buttons
• rebooting here and there
• pressing control-alt-delete, closing eyes and thinking of England
• pressing ESCAPE, closing eyes and hoping for the best.
For a while, I thought I’d lost 3/4 years worth of writing, until Nerdish Friend helped me retrieve it. It’s not here now, but I’ll be spending the next little while updating the new-look blog and getting back into the swing of things, including (hopefully) restoring the old posts and comments.
We’d almost lost Bridezilla before her first month anniversary!
Enjoy the rest of the week and thanks for visiting. If I disappear off the computer screen any time in the future, I can be found in a a file titled ‘SHE THOUGHT SHE KNEW OUR LANGUAGE.’

It's raining here. It's lovely and I'm having a cuppa and thinking of you. Serious probs at rosiejones.net, however with Laura's help, I'm hoping I can put cyber crapola behind me.
